The Property

Welcome to the Stabbin Cabin #2 on Grant Island, Brantingham Lake, NY

The Stabbin Cabin is a unique private bungalow on Grant Island.  Outdoor Hot Tub is for you to relax anytime! So nice to warm you up after a cold dip in the lake

You will have your own private electric-powered boat for transportation and leisure.

Take it out to view all Brantingham Lake has to offer.  View our majestic sunsets and lake wildlife.

Fishing in Brantingham Lake is quite good.  See the Brantingham info section in the link below for more information on Brantingham in General.

A bathroom, mini-fridge, hot tub and super fast Wifi are all at your disposal, as well as TV with Roku and Netflix.   An Alexa is in the room and at your beck and call.
Play music, get the weather, have questions?  She’s there to help if you need it.

You will have access to Grant Island amenities like a diving board, hammocks, docks, rowboats, canoes. and more

The Parking area is about a 5-minute boat ride from the Island.

When you arrive we pick you up from the mainland parking area and give you a quick tour of everything and to answer any questions you might have.   We will make sure you are comfortable and have all the information you’ll need for a great stay.

We also run Boat, Jetski and ATV rentals so if you’re looking for a little more adventure.  We’ve got it for you.

About this space

We tried to think of everything one could possibly need for a tiny home and include it in our second Stabbin Cabin on Grant Island, Brantingham Lake.  Made for couples this home comes with a large screen projection TV that doubles as the curtain over the picturesque window overlooking Brantingham Lake. The Tiny home has its own Balcony Porch with BBQ grill and Cafe table seating. You are given your own boat to travel to and from the island. Read more for all our features!

We just built this new Stabbin Cabin #2 and have added everything we can think of to make it an amazing place for couples to come, relax and enjoy our Island.

Grant Island is a 2 acre island which has 2 main houses and two tiny homes (Stabbin Cabins)
Management lives in the primary house and the second house is rented to groups of up to 8 guests.

This Tiny home located on a slice of Grant Island comes equipped with a Queen size bed and Epic picturesque view over Brantingham Lake from the large 5’x 8′ window.

Doubling as a curtain over the window the electric projector screen can be lowered from bed by remote control to turn your view into a surround sound, cinematic experience.

Our system has a Roku as well as all needed Bluetooth and screen share capabilities. So bring your cell phone and project your playlist to our big screen.
We have Xbox 360 with a real and Guitar Hero setup so you can play Guitar Hero and Guitarsmith, if you prefer the real thing.

Pull down the dining table and benches to open up the murphy style table and chairs and explore your cooking options. We have an air fryer, microwave, hotplate, hot water maker, toaster, coffee maker and zero water filtration system to make sure you have clean drinking water at all times.

We supply you with plates, dishes, bowls, pots, pans, utensils and more. If we dont have it just ask us and if we have it we will get it to you.

On the front balcony porch is your private BBQ grill to cook up some BBQ.
A cafe dining setup on the Balcony provides you with your own private outdoor dining experience.

On the side of the bed is our charging platform that has just about every phone charger in use including wireless charging.

If privacy is your thing we have curtains and shades for the many windows of the house that douse you with sunlight all day long.

If you like to sleep in and worry about light coming in and waking you up. Don’t fret. We have designer face masks to block the light and let you get your much-needed rest.

Just 40 feet from the Stabbin Cabin entrance is the bathroom. The bathroom is shared with the guests of the Stabbin Cabin #1 (if there are any)

There are entrances on each side of the bathroom. One is for the Bathroom and sink and the other is for the Shower area. Both are separate and have separate entrances so both can be occupied at the same time. Each door has a vacant/occupied sign to let you know when it’s available.

The Hot Tub is perfect for those cool evenings to warm up your bones.  Jump in and enjoy the bubbles.

The Beach Area has many chairs and two docks so that you can almost always have your own area. We have a diving board that is available for you.

Included in your rental is a rowboat with an electric motor so that you can come and go from the Island as you wish. You can also use it to explore Brantingham Lake and / or go fishing.
You have the option to upgrade your boat to a full-size pontoon boat. It’s an additional charge of $150 per night. You can request this upgrade after making your reservation.

Included in your reservation is a Canoe and Rowboat.

We have a boat rental business on-site and offer our guests a 30% discount on ATV’s, Jetskis, Kayaks, SUPS, Paddleboats and more. After reserving we will send you our comprehensive house manual with all details on how to take advantage of this discount.

Brantingham Lake is well known for its families of Loons which make themselves known in the evening with their unique calls that echo around the still lake.

We allow one dog. 20 Lb maximum. Its $50 extra. If you wish to bring your pup please notify us before arrival.

Both Tiny Homes ( Stabbin Cabins) are for singles or couples only.
The Main Renters cottage is given half of the island private to themselves.
Both Stabbin Cabins share the main side of the island with Management which consists of 3 people.

You will have access to the Hot Tub, Bathroom, Shower, Main Beach Area, Rowboat and Canoe.
Other things to note
All guests are required to sign a personal and pet liability waiver before arriving to Grant Island. The hosts will not be held responsible for the decisions, risks and well-being of guests who visit the property.

BOOKING DETAILS

We have a $250 security and damage deposit that is due upon booking.  This deposit, pending there are no added fees or damages during your stay, will be returned within 48 hours of your departure.  So expect this fee to be added to your reservation and know that it is refundable.
