If you are looking for a tranquil and peaceful location, The Beach House is it!  We have a unique design, comfortable beds and overall very clean !  We welcome everyone to stay (including small pets) to enjoy the rustic nature, friendly people, beautiful beach, delicious food from the local restaurants and much more.

THE SPACE

• The entire property sleeps up to 12 guests.   We limit the number of guests on the property to the 12 that are reserved.
• This reservation is for the Master Bedroom in the Main house for maximum 2 guests.   You could be sharing the property with other guests who reserve our other Casitas.
• This bedroom is on the second floor of the Main House.   The ground floor of the main house is the common area kitchen.
• Children 2 years and younger are included free.
• If you have pets, they will be welcome as well (size approval) we have a $5 fee per night.
• All of our rooms have hot water and very comfortable and clean beds.
• Air Conditioning is available in each bedroom at an additional $10 per night.   This includes 12 hours in the evening and you can start at any time you wish

Other things to note

We offer different kinds of rooms. We can accommodate groups of 2, 3 and 4 people per room.  If you have larger parties we will accommodate you as needed by booking separate rooms.

If you are looking for something smaller for fewer guests we do rent each of our Casitas individually.

  You can add these items to your reservation when you check out so we can make sure to organize the service for you when you are here.

We are right on the beach. Walk out the front and you are instantly transported to beautiful Pochomil Beach.

The View from the main bedroom balcony is amazing. We have two hammocks there to chill the day away as well as another couple around the property.

Surfing is good right in front of the house. We have Boogie Boards and other water toys that are included like snorkels and fins.

Suf Board rentals are an additional fee.   We have 3 available.   If you need more just let us know.

The closest airport is in Managua. It’s a 1-hour 15-minute car ride from the airport.   There are two main roads that you can travel by.   One is a more straight and direct route and the other is more scenic and windy roads thru the mountains. We can advise you on directions based on your preference.

All Roads are paved and well maintained up until about 1000 ft before you turn to our location. for about 1000 ft you will drive on a small dirt road to the beach. You will arrive to us and our groundskeeper will open the gate for you to help you get sorted.

Our property is surrounded by a protective wall for privacy and security.   Parking is inside our property so you can rest assured your things will be safe.

We have a 24/7 groundskeeper that lives on the back of the property to assist you with anything you will need at any time.

We will send you a full house manual when you reserve so that you have all the details needed for your stay.

GREAT LOCATION TO GO SURFING OR BODYBOARDING! 

We are literally located ON the beach. The location can not be beaten. Walk out the front yard directly onto the white beach sand. If you’re into Surfing, being in the Ocean or just finding a spot to getaway. This is a great spot for you. I purchased this property for this exact reason.

When you arrive you will be welcome by made beds with fresh linens as well as fresh fluffy towels and a scented essential oil diffuser puffing a mist of fresh Orange or LemonGrass.

Our Wifi is the fastest option possible in the area. The wifi range covers the whole property and you won’t have any problems connecting. We have a Netgear Nighthawk Router with added antennas to extend the range.

Our Kitchen is fully stocked. We have just about anything you could need to cook and entertain

We have a new 6 burner stove and a standard size Refrigerator. There is also a private mini-fridge in your Cabana for you. Your Cabana has its own private bathroom. There is a ceiling fan as well as personal fans to keep you cool at night.

Our property is surrounded by a 10 ft wall and we have a private area for parking your vehicles. The area is safe but if you are concerned at all you need not worry as we have the location completely secured by the wall and large gates as well as our 24 Hour Security.

Don’t be surprised if you see Pigs walking down the beach enjoying the water or waking up to the call of Roosters. To me this is heaven. Hope you enjoy it too.

We have a private Chef available upon request so you can have a private cook prepare all your meals should you wish. Costs are usually around $30 to $50 a meal for 4 guests depending on the meal. Our Chefs are the same that cook at the Barcelo Montelimar which is a 4-star High-End Resort. They will personally go to the local fish markets to get the freshest produce and Fish to cook your meals that day. All cooked in our very own Kitchen for you upon request.

You have your complete Casita and free run of the property. The only location you do not have access is the Casita #1 and the 2nd floor to the Main Beach House. We have a washer and dryer available at an extra fee should you have an extended stay.

The weather at THE BEACH HOUSE is a consistent 78 – 90 degrees just about every day. The air is not too humid and I have found it to be some of the most comfortable and enjoyable weather I’ve ever been to.  I’ve traveled a lot so when I came to Pochomil I fell in Love.

Please note, we have security cameras throughout the common areas of the property for your and our protection.

We have a Reverse Osmosis water purifier with remineralization cartridges to give you some of the best drinking water possible.

Additionally. Nicaragua is a 3rd World Country. Do your research on Nicaragua and Pochomil before you come. Do not expect the area to be like Miami Beach. You will see chickens and pigs walking freely and there are not the standard 1st world accommodations in the area. Personally, I love this about the area but there are some people and groups that this is not their thing. If our location was in the states the rates would be 5 times higher. Be reasonable with your expectations and keep them in alignment with where you are choosing to visit. If you’re concerned about everything being spic and span and super clean at all times. This is not the place for you.
