THE ACCOMODATIONS

Sirena Surf Lodge Room #1 is a beachfront AC room, steps away from the breaking waves of Punta Miramar. Room #1 is bathed in fresh sea breezes, has tons of natural light, and has a quaint private bathroom. Sirena Surf Lodge is located in a sleepy fishing village called Playa Miramar, with a few places to explore and lots of waves to surf… we are well known as a premier Surf Camp in the region. We offer guided surfing, boat trips to Puerto Sandino (La Barra), fishing trips, and other tours.

Some of our rooms, like Room #1 are located directly on the beach. We have huge sliding glass doors, basically a wall of windows open to the ocean…you can watch people surfing without lifting your head from the pillow.

We are the closest lodging to Puerto Sandino, arguably the best wave in Nicaragua and offer daily boat trips for $20 per person. The trips are daily and conditions permitting and departure times depend on tides/swell etc…

Surf Lessons and surfboard rentals are available ($25hr/$15 per day) as well as other tourist adventures and land transport to the airport and other cities as well.

We have very good and reliable fiber optic wifi to stay connected with the family.

Your room will be shared with only your travel partners, but the whole house common areas are shared except for the kitchen. This includes a back patio with hammocks, two front terraces with hammocks and various other “chill” spaces. The dining area has huge hardwood slab table that accommodates 16, there’s a television with Netflix,Youtube, Apple TV etc… Our central living room has a pool table, air hockey and dart board. We have an ice machine and all water is filtered and safe to drink. Of course the beach out front is the main feature but we do have 4 fat tire beach bikes free for you to use and explore the village!

Our kitchen is a home kitchen from which we produce amazing meals three times a day for the guests. You can order a la carte or arrange for a meal package. The kitchen is not available for guest use, but we’re happy to prepare meals, snacks, smoothies or whatever you may need from our menu. We do not allow outside food and drink, though if you have snacks or fruit we’re not going to “police” it. We do not allow outside beverages, we have alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for sale at reasonable prices. There are a few other bars and restaurants in the area that we can direct you to when you’re here…we encourage helping to support the locals.

Your vacation time is very important to us. We know that making the most of your precious vacation time is the priority and we want to assist you any way we can. While the lodge is typically used as a surf camp for traveling surfers, let us know if we can arrange any other activities that may enhance your vacation experience in Nicaragua at Sirena Surf Lodge!
