Explore the Brantingham Lily Ponds waterfront in our Virtual Tour
Select Location Below
The floor of the Lily Pond is mostly organic matter, silt, and mud.  The water is quite clear and contains brown tannins giving the lake a clear brown hue.  On sunny days you can see down 6-8 feet. Â
The lake’s temperature in mid-summer ranges from 70 – 76 on average and fluctuates with the recent air temperatures and rain levels. In the winter the lake freezes solid.
On the average summer day, the lake is calm and smooth offering a nice reflection between the sky and waterline.
Â
The Lily Pond has good fishing including Bass, Rock Bass, Rainbow Trout, Perch and Pickeral. Commonly found in the Lily Pond are turtles as well. Snaping turtles have been seen but are almost never a threat or nuisance.Â
The Brantingham General Store usually will have Bait and Fishing supplies for sale.
Â
The Lily Pond has no public lake access itself.  Brantingham Lake is considered a public lake however this is little to no public parking available to outside guests. Access can be reached via Brantingham Lake and traveling through the Lily Pond canal.  You can view this on our Virtual Tours by clicking the VIRTUAL TOUR button at the top of this page.Â
